Observations and Anecdotal Information
Goldenrod is a very rare essential oil. I have found it to be a superior remedy for airborne respiratory allergies, such as allergies to pollen, animal dander, and environmental pollutants.
It’s also known to be used orally in homeopathic blends for food allergies.
Goldenrod has an affinity for the kidneys, and can potentially be highly effective in treating kidney and bladder infections. Use it by taking a drop of the oil in a cup of hot tear water twice a day.
It also has cardiotonic properties, and is a fantastic regenerator of the heart, pericardium, and arterial system. It can increase circulation, and has historically been used to help treat congestive coughs and diphtheria.
