Observations and Anecdotal Information
Tea tree essential oil was used during World War II as a disinfectant and wound treatment on the battle grounds. Its anti-infectious properties made it possible to do surgeries and to heal the wounds of war before chemical disinfectants were invented.
This oil is effectively a medicine chest. It can be used to help so many conditions that it is one of the most popular essential oils of our time.
It is a popular choice for many skin conditions and infections, wounds, rashes, injuries, break-outs, and bites.
It strengthens the immune system and the respiratory system. It is very effective for lung and respiratory issues, when inhaled from a diffuser. It relieves symptoms of colds, flu, and other infectious diseases.
It can be used internally (at proper dilution), and externally, and is a solid cornerstone for any natural medicine kit.
Many tea tree oils are redistilled to reduce the aroma and clarify the color for the fragrance industry. These oils are not suitable for aromatherapy use.
Ours is distilled only once, at low temperatures, producing what is known as “premium grade tea tree essential oil” for natural aromatherapy use
