Seabuckthorn Seed CO2 Extract
The botanical name of seabuckthorn seed CO2 extract, Hippophae rhamnoides, roughly translates to “Plant that makes horses shine”. It harks back to the ancient Greek, and later Roman, practice of feeding the seabuckthorn berries to horses to provide the mounts with great nutrition and a shiny coat. The seed of seabuckthorn has been confirmed as one of the few sources of Omega 7 fat– a very rare and healthful fatty acid for humans and horses alike!
Seabuckthorn seed CO2 extract supports and strengthens the circulatory system, and supports beautiful, strong and healthy skin, nails, and hair. It is the richest source of Omega 7 known, and greatly surpasses the more common fish oil, which is the only animal source known to contain it. Omega 7 is known to be and used as an age defying fatty acid that can regenerate skin.
Additionally, there are over 190 other rare plant nutrients that this seed provides, making it a nutritional superfood. Our seabuckthorn seed CO2 extract is of therapeutic quality, and can be used internally as well as externally.
