It is calming and balancing for the nervous system and can ease the tendency toward convulsions for some people.
It is helpful for almost all forms of pain relief, and is especially helpful for menstrual cramps. For pain relief, use in a bath, massage, or apply directly as a compress to the painful area. One can use up to 30% dilution in a carrier oil for arthritic pain or neuralgia. An excellent essential oil for deep tissue massage and for scoliosis, it helps release cellular muscle patterns.
