Inhalation of tarragon essential oil is known to clear chronic coughs, congestion, and spasm of the respiratory system. It also helps heart palpitations, and can be applied in diluted form directly to the chest for this purpose. It is calming and balancing for the nervous system and can ease the tendency toward convulsions for some people.

It is helpful for almost all forms of pain relief, and is especially helpful for menstrual cramps.  For pain relief, use in a bath, massage, or apply directly as a compress to the painful area. One can use up to 30% dilution in a carrier oil for arthritic pain or neuralgia. An excellent essential oil for deep tissue massage and for scoliosis, it helps release cellular muscle patterns.  It facilitates the release of non-beneficial patterns held in muscles, tissue and myofascia.

One of the more mild parasiticides, it is useful as a parasite cleanse for children over 10 years old, and people with extremely degenerative conditions.
